Time to Relax

This weekend Tucker, Jay,and I went to the lake to celebrate Mymama's birthday. It was a rainy day, but still a relaxing one. It's funny how no matter what the weather, the lake always puts you in a different state of mind. Mymama and I sat out on the porch and watched the world go by. We chatted about many different things, saw a humming bird, and watched the squirrels play. We enjoyed two good drenching summer rains. I wouldn't trade anything for those special moments.

Meanwhile, the boys were so relaxed, they were taking a long nap on the couches in the living room. Jay was on the couch and Tucker was on the love seat. I couldn't resist getting a few pics!

On the way back home, we stopped by our future neighborhood to see if any progress was made in the last week. We were happy to see that they had filled the hole, but not much else was completed. We hope to see a slab next week. Fingers crossed!!!
